An Elegant Monochromatic Thanksgiving Dinner

An Elegant Monochromatic Thanksgiving Dinner

Written By Rivky Markossian

Late fall means crisp mornings, the warm hue of autumn leaves, and a thrill of expectancy in the air. Thanksgiving is approaching and with it comes the potential to create lifelong memories.

There is something special about Thanksgiving.  It’s a pause from our busy lives, an opportunity to gather with family and friends, a chance to truly be mindful of our blessings.

Thanksgiving isn’t only about delicious meals and wonderful company. If you are hosting, creating the perfect ambience can take hours and hours of planning and preparation. But it doesn’t need to be that way. Our fall dinnerware allows you to create a modern and elegant table without sacrificing precious time with your family.

This year, we are looking beyond the obvious Thanksgiving palette with orange shades and wood accents towards a more chic monochromatic look.

The Zora Porcelain Dinnerware in Black

We started by choosing a simple black linen-textured tablecloth that pairs perfectly with our Zora Porcelain Dinnerware in Black. The brilliant splash of gold will lend an air of sophistication to your holiday table. Combine with dark dinnerware to create a backdrop that really showcases the delicacies you’ve prepared.

To enhance the minimalistic ambience, place several branches of greenery or even some small wildflowers on the table. A few well-placed gold candlesticks will compliment the accents on the fall dinner plates and offer your Thanksgiving table a soft, atmospheric glow.

Other sets

For a more subtle presentation, you can opt for the Celina Stoneware Set, one of our most popular fall dinnerware settings. These modern and minimalistic plates will lend your table an air of effortless sophistication.

If you are seeking a minimalist feel, but prefer lighter tableware, our Gabrielle Bone China Dinnerware may be the perfect option. This all white set is timeless and elegant and will be the perfect canvas for your culinary masterpieces.

If you prefer a look that is truly unique, consider our brand new Sophie Stoneware Set. These textured design plates will transform your table into a work of art.

Now that you’ve chosen the ideal backdrop, it’s time for the feature presentation.

For a contemporary Thanksgiving menu that piques all of the senses, consider a simple Rosemary Lamb Chops recipe with Israeli couscous. Enliven your table with acorn squash, cranberry sauce and a fresh mixed greens citrus salad.
